Wat is mijn armband maat?

What is my bracelet size?

We often get the question: What is my bracelet size? But also: How do I measure my wrist size? To prevent ordering the wrong size, it is important to measure both correctly.

How do you measure your wrist size?

Before calculating your bracelet size, first measure your wrist size.
We recommend using a piece of string or a measuring tape when measuring your wrist size. Use this to measure your wrist tightly. If you measure with a (clothing) measuring tape, you will immediately know the length in centimeters. If you measure with a piece of string, you should cut it off or mark it with a line. Then measure the string. In both cases, it can be very useful if someone helps you measure your wrist size! Then…

Calculate your bracelet size

For the perfect bracelet size, we at CLIC use the following main rule:

Wrist circumference measured tightly + 1 cm

So, is your wrist 17 cm? Then choose size 18! If you follow this rule, you will eventually have a bracelet that fits and lies nicely, and will not slide around too much.

If you already have a well-fitting bracelet

Of course, it is much easier to measure a suitable bracelet. Then place the bracelet in a straight line on a flat surface and then measure it. Note: If the bracelet sticks together or slides at a certain point, do not count this point or only half of it. This is also a very good method if you want to give someone a bracelet as a gift and it should remain a surprise!

A reassurance: even if you order a size larger, the bracelet will fit perfectly, just a little looser. It just depends on what you find most comfortable. Therefore, think in advance about how you want to wear the bracelet, and whether this will be in combination with a watch, for example. Then measure that specific spot on your wrist.

To best meet your needs, our bracelet sizes range from 16 to 20. Is your size not there? No problem, just mention it in the notes. You can find notes in the shopping cart and will return just before you check out!

Here are some more tips and comments:

  • All our bracelets with bayonet closure, such as the Thinking of You line, but also the A230 and A231, are light and thin bracelets that you can wear every day; they do not get in the way quickly. Very important for many: they do not irritate during computer work!
  • The bracelets with magnetic closure, close at fixed points. It is not the case that the entire bracelet is magnetic, and you can therefore tighten or loosen the bracelet.

Conclusion of the story:
Your wrist size is different from your bracelet size and ultimately the choice of which bracelet size is perfect for you is entirely up to you. This can even depend on the jewelry!
